Privacy Policy

Overview

Wake is a personal alarm and morning-flow app owned and operated by RetrainAI Limited. We designed Wake so it functions without accounts, cloud syncs, or ad tracking. Everything you configure—alarm time, routines, flow progress, and your greeting—lives only on your device.

Information we store

• Alarm time and schedule preferences
• Your Exciting Thing, Routine Items, and Daily Task entries
• Morning flow completion timestamps for stats
• Your preferred greeting (e.g., “Morning Jamie!”)
• Onboarding completion status

All of the above data is stored locally via AsyncStorage on your iOS or Android device. Wake does not transmit this data to our servers or third parties.

Permissions we request

• Notifications – Required to deliver the repeating birdsong alarm, even if Wake is closed. This permission is essential for the core alarm functionality and is requested when you first set an alarm or during onboarding.

Analytics & third parties

Wake does not include analytics SDKs, ads, or trackers. The only network calls originate from Expo/Apple/Google infrastructure required to deliver push notifications. We do not control or retain any personal data from those services.

Data retention & control

Because all information is stored on your device, deleting the app (or clearing its storage) removes your data. There is no remote account to delete and no backup stored on our servers.

Children

Wake is intended for general audiences but does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, delete the app and contact us for guidance.
