Funnel ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Funnel mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address and display name through our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Mood and log data. Information you enter in the App, including mood ratings, event tags, behavior tags, notes, and log dates.
• App preferences. Settings such as notification preferences and saved patterns stored on your device and synced to your account where applicable.
• Subscription status. If you subscribe, Apple (or Google on Android) processes payment. We receive subscription status through RevenueCat to unlock premium features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
• Device and usage data. Basic technical data needed to operate the App, such as device type and app version, may be processed by our infrastructure providers.

How we use your information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Sync your logs and settings across your devices
• Generate personal insights and statistics from your entries
• Send optional daily log reminders if you enable notifications
• Manage subscriptions and restore purchases
• Respond to support requests and protect the security of the App

How we store and share data

Your account and log data are stored using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat and the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play).

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the App, when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the App may schedule local notifications on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App or in your device settings.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your information while your account is active. You can delete your account from the App settings, which removes your profile and funnel entries from our systems, subject to limited backup retention by our providers.

Children's privacy

Funnel is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
